Since year 2014, Nissan is using Foam wash technology in all their service centers which on an average save 70 ltrs of water per car. They have announced that the company saves 6.1 million litres of water in India in last 3 years by using this effective technique.
We all know that in today’s time water is very precious and we all have to contribute towards saving water in any ways. This unique foam wash technique which Nissan has adopted to clean the cars at their service centres across India has helped them achieve substantial water saving.
The company says that traditional car washes regularly use about 160 litres of water to clean one car, whereas the foam wash technique consumes only 90 litres per car. This way it has reduced the water usage by 45%, which is equivalent to the water consumption of around 25,000 Indian households in a day, claims Nissan.
Sanjeev Aggarwal, VP of after sales of Nissan Motor India said that the company always aim to deliver innovative and best-in-class service to its customers. “Using the foam wash technique for our customers’ cars saves their time and a significant amount of water. It’s a winning combination for both Nissan and Datsun customers and for the environment”, he added.
